For this 1930's home not far from the ocean, we wanted the finished bathroom to feel classic, timeless, and elevated. The existing bathroom was dated and dark, and did not fit the home's coastal character.

This particular space needed a full gut, which ultimately allowed for a slight gain in the overall square footage of the room. Though the layout remained the same, we were able to fit a larger soaking tub and a vanity while creating a brighter and more functional space.

We focused on layering coastal and classic elements to give character to the small bathroom. The jellyfish patterned wallpaper provides a hint of whimsy while adding dimension to the room with its subtle metallic finish. In the shower, warm neutral tile and brass fixtures kept the overall palette balanced, fresh, and inviting.
